2009 proved to be one (if not the) worst season in Seahawks history. Although we improved upon last year's record to go 5-11, anyone who watched the games knows that this was a terrible product the Seahawks put on the field each week, especially when playing on the road.
But 2009 is done, and 2010 is on the calendar. Mora has been fired, Ruskell is gone, and the Seahawks begin a new era (again!) under the direction of Pete Carroll, who comes to us with a record of 97-19 as coach of the USC Trojans, but a previous NFL coaching record of 33-31. Which Carroll will be leading the Seahawks in 2010? We'll find out soon enough, and we'll find out together.
Throughout the year, the Midwest Seahawkers had great contests, parties, giveaways and events. We met new friends and renewed our experiences with our old friends. The memories and friendships will last forever, and there's so much more where they came from.
